The Chocolate Stag is a handmade chocolate business based in East Lothian just outside Edinburgh. East Lothian is known as Edinburgh’s Coast & Countryside and often referred to as Scotland’s Larder being home to a wide range of food and drink producers – and now also handmade chocolate!
All of our chocolates are made by hand by Angela at Garleton Lodge our award-winning, small luxury hotel in its hilltop setting with spectacular panoramic views across Edinburgh, the Forth and surrounding East Lothian countryside.

Our range of handmade chocolates includes everyone’s favourites using white, milk and dark chocolate as well as our own creations including strawberry spheres, salted caramels, dark chocolate spiced rum truffles, baby Guinness cups and gin & tonic truffles.
We do not use anything artificial and never add preservatives leaving our chocolates to taste exactly as they should.
Available in boxes of 6, 12 or 24 individual chocolates these make a great gift for someone special – or a quiet night in!
